No Days Off
What comes to mind when you hear the words rest day?
Treating yourself with pizza? Lounging on the couch all day?
You need to change your mindset when it comes to rest days.
It’s not a “day off” from training.
It’s a day to focus on your recovery.
You need to be doing something EVERY DAY that is moving you forward.
Active recovery is just as important as resistance training and is essential for preventing injuries and burnouts.
It's the approach that will keep you consistent long term.
Whether it’s yoga, mobility, meditation, or going for a walk, do something on your "rest days" that will re-energize you for your next workout and get you one step closer to where you want to be.
Remember, the more you put into your recovery, the better your resistance training will benefit your body.
